Yemi Fadahunsi
Yemi's knowledge is fortified through her various roles in government, politics, and international work. She taught English in Taiwan through the Fulbright Program and was a Policy Aide at the City of Minneapolis with the Sustainability Department. In 2020, Yemi worked on the re-election campaign for U.S Senator Tina Smith. Her most recent role was with Senator Smith as the Senior Outreach Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion/ Energy and Climate Justice. In this role she built and maintained relationships statewide with stakeholders while representing the Senator’s interests and policies. She also interned at The Walt Disney Company on the Global Public Policy team where she assisted with global regulatory policy issues for the company. Yemi brings extensive experience in the federal government and the ability to work collaboratively with communities across Minnesota on complex issues. Yemi graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Anthropology from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University and is a current Masters of Public Policy Student at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
